Bavarian beer garden

The beer garden is about 3 m from the lake and adjoins the lakeside terrace. Here, barbecues and folklore events are held at regular intervals in addition to the normal restaurant catering.

Not only can guests sit in the shade of old chestnut trees in the summer but the beer garden is also open in winter when mulled wine and warm dishes (such as hearty stews) are served to the many skaters who visit Wessling Lake, especially at the weekend.

Wessling Lake - the smallest in the Five Lakes District - is normally the first lake to freeze over before the year is out and the first suitable for bathing in the spring. The average water temperature in the summer months is approx. 24°C.

Adjacent to the beer garden is a boccia lane and a small children's play area set in a beautiful large garden.

There are plenty of bicycle stands available.
