From a letter written by Lutz Bergmann, Marbella

 Dated 13th November, 2007:

Dear Bettina Ulmer,

Recently, when I read the quotation you use, "He who only thinks in one direction just goes round in circles", I suddenly had the spontaneous idea to tell you about the positive experiences I have had in conjunction with your cosy hotel "Seehof" on the banks of the romantic Wessling Lake. As you know, my wife Brigitte and I have visited your hotel "Seehof" several times a year since it opened, even though we have been living in Spain since 1997.

The quotation is definitely valid for both the hotel and catering sectors alike. Because there, only thinking in one direction would not do at all. And this is exactly the philosophy which you and your team have been putting into practice no-stop for the past 11 years for the benefit of your guests.

 
This applies in particular to the rooms with their modern decor and all their excellent technical installations for perfect global communication, which predominantly business travellers require. It applies equally to the lakeside restaurant with its excellent gourmet cuisine and seasonal specialities, along with the range of available wines which is always up to date. Not forgetting the appealing atmosphere in your excellently equipped bar, of course. And the lobby, the hotel's visiting card, so to speak, is characterized by its international flair.

This leads me to conclude that you and your team have always been quick to implement ideas to improve the qualities of the hotel and that you have not only thought and acted "in one direction", but have always reconsidered what you have achieved on all levels and continued to enhance it still further.

For, as you so rightly say, "He who only thinks in one direction just goes round in circles" and does not ever really move forward. We have literally seen your hotel "Seehof" grow, not only as regards its international clientele, but also in terms of its staff structure.

One can but congratulate you on your many years of lasting success.
